Wednesday 30th May

This weekend we reach the mid point of our 40 Days of Community Campaign.

Over 75 people, including our children have been participating in Sunday services, in mid week small groups and in outreach activities - one of the home groups last night made lunches for several people as a gift.

Next Saturday (1pm) our major outreach event - the 'Great Whitby Cleanup' will involve over 300 people from the community who will collect rubbish as a World Environment Day effort. This event, organised by St Mary's, will conclude with the planting of a Kowhai Tree, the burying of a time capsule and a barbeque.

Interested?

Just turn up at St Mary's by 1pm and be blessed!

WHITBY CHURCHES UNITE FOR WORSHIP

Sunday 29 June

10am in Aotea College

The Anchor, Lakeside Baptist and St Mary's Anglican Churches
will worship together in Aotea College on the fifth Sunday morning in June.

Building on our joint morning worship service after Christmas, church ministers and committees want us to continue expressing our Christian unity by regularly worshipping jointly.

Normal Sunday morning worship services will be suspended on 29th June.
