At St Mary's youth ministry is organised into two groups:
Both groups aim to provide fun teaching about Jesus Christ at a level they can understand. In all we do we seek to encourage youth to make choices about Christianity.
The Well caters for ages 9-13 years and focuses on the needs of older primary and intermediate age youth. This ministry includes:
Social Events happen 3-4 times a term. Social Events happen 3-4 times a term. During Term 4 they are happening on the 26th Oct, 24th Nov and the 15th Dec - see online calendar for details
Sunday morning "breakout" and "all-together" times
building friendships
camps
outings
bible teaching
pastoral care
Youth Group caters for those Year 9 up. This ministry includes:
meets most Friday nights 7:50-9:30
undertakes all the above
except: on Sunday mornings youth group members will join the adult "breakout" Sunday morning

Whitby Marsden College Chaplaincy
St Mary's offers a chaplaincy service to the newly formed Whitby Marsden College.
Currently students from years 7-12 (ages 11-16) attend this school.
St Mary's hosts and organises with the School, a chapel service once a term.
Other onsite ministry is also undertaken.
